Community Land Trust National Demonstration Programme (funded by Carnegie UK Trust, the Housing Corporation, Higher Education Funding Council and Commission for Rural Communities)
We are currently conducting a national demonstration programme in order to demonstrate the Community Land Trust model in action, and to produce a range of tools for use by housing associations, community activists and practitioners. Together with the University of Northumbria we will produce a range of case studies of urban and rural CLTs, together with lessons learned. The rationale behind the programme is to support the development of CLTs through the dissemination of best-practice models and practices which will ensure community ownership of land and other assets in perpetuity.
